4th Winter Workshop on Non-Perturbative Quantum Field Theory

This international workshop aims to bring together experts on strongly interacting quantum fields and solitonic field configurations in (semi-)classical field theory, applied to particle physics, few- and many-body systems, condensed-matter problems, and cosmology.

The scope of the conference includes but is not limited to the following topics:

  • nonperturbative approaches to Quantum Chromodynamics (functional integral, Schrödinger functional)
  • lattice based simulations of exceptional gauge dynamics (G2)
  • strongly correlated electrons in 2D
  • PT symmetric Quantum Field Theories and Quantum Mechanics
  • nonperturbative approaches to Quantum Electrodynamics (Schwinger proper time)
  • SU(2) Yang-Mills thermodynamics and the Cosmic Microwave Background
  • SU(N) center vortices off and on the lattice
  • gauge-theory solitons in nontrivial background geometries
  • Skyrmion
  • nuclear few-body systems
  • AdS/QCD

Peer-reviewed proceedings are planned to be published in a Special Issue of Conference Proceedings in Science under the title Strongly interacting quantum fields (Hindawi Publishing).
